4th March - An Steall Ban
A busy day on Steall Falls. Ali and I went up early for her first outdoor ice climbing. She found it nice and easy and even lead a pitch at the top. After abseiling off, we managed to hitch a lift back to the Fort from some fellow climbers.
Ha - yeah, showery! Up to the end of March now... April and May to come still! I'll try and keep it up to date from now on, but no promises... Climbing is clearly more important than writing about climbing, right?! :-)
I'm a freelance outdoor instructor based in the Outer Hebrides. I do quite a lot of work with activity centres and groups, but am also able to take families or individuals out to play in the mountains. Previous guises have seen me instructing ice climbing in Kinlochleven, pulling pints at the Clachaig, being a rep in Lapland, tour leader in France and activity instructor in some fairly random places in the UK. Who knows what the future holds!
Yay! You've revived the blog!!
ReplyDeleteRainy day in Kinloch?
Maz :-)

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!! I've nearly caught up with my back log now and should only need to blog once I've done something!
