Skiing at White Corries
Daniel and I headed over to White Corries today for a spot of skiing. The snow wasn't bad, a little icy and scoured in places. Flat light conditions made it tricky to see what the run ahead held, which made for a few interesting moments... I remembered the best thing about skiing in Scotland though - mid-week there are no queues :-)
I'm a freelance outdoor instructor based in the Outer Hebrides. I do quite a lot of work with activity centres and groups, but am also able to take families or individuals out to play in the mountains. Previous guises have seen me instructing ice climbing in Kinlochleven, pulling pints at the Clachaig, being a rep in Lapland, tour leader in France and activity instructor in some fairly random places in the UK. Who knows what the future holds!
