Managed to persuade my house-mate Ali out on to the hill for a ridge-walk up Cruach Ardrain from Crianlarich in stunning weather and a little fresh snow.

- I'm a freelance outdoor instructor based in the Outer Hebrides. I do quite a lot of work with activity centres and groups, but am also able to take families or individuals out to play in the mountains. Previous guises have seen me instructing ice climbing in Kinlochleven, pulling pints at the Clachaig, being a rep in Lapland, tour leader in France and activity instructor in some fairly random places in the UK. Who knows what the future holds!
