So I thought I'd give this blog thing a go - keep finding myself with things I'd like to commit to paper recently and nowhere to put them... I'll add some more things soon - the next few days are going to be a bit hectic and probably not very interesting to read about!

- I'm a freelance outdoor instructor based in the Outer Hebrides. I do quite a lot of work with activity centres and groups, but am also able to take families or individuals out to play in the mountains. Previous guises have seen me instructing ice climbing in Kinlochleven, pulling pints at the Clachaig, being a rep in Lapland, tour leader in France and activity instructor in some fairly random places in the UK. Who knows what the future holds!
